Mimi Makes is a one-woman operation that produces handmade stitch markers, handbags, jewelry and more for local shops around the Milwaukee area (and for sale online at her Etsy shop.)
For this brand identity project, we needed something that reflects her focus in yarn, knitting, and crocheting, but also leaves the door open to produce a wide variety of handmade products in the future.
The "MM" acts as a visual reference to stitches and loops of yarn without directly illustrating yarn or knitting related supplies. The organic containment shape represents the handmade element of the products, and the blush color represents the passion, creativity and femininity of the brand.
